Learn about Vanessa's screening experience
Learn about Vanessa's journey living with an autoimmune condition and how early screening empowered her to stay ahead.
Step 1 - UNDERSTAND YOUR RISK
Vanessa lives with an autoimmune condition, which also puts her at increased risk for type 1 diabetes. She wanted to understand if something might be happening that she couldn’t see.
Step 2 - TAKE THE TEST
She chose a simple finger-prick home test to get started. A small blood sample was collected and sent for analysis to check for the presence of autoantibodies.
Step 3 - STAY AHEAD
For Vanessa, this was an important step in taking control of her health. It gives her a sense of calm knowing she is doing something proactive to stay ahead.
